SpaceMaster Selected for ESA Astronaut Training

Round 4 SpaceMaster Katherine Bennell-Pegg has been selected as the first Australian woman to be trained as an astronaut by an international space agency.

Currently the Director of Space Technology at the Australian Space Agency, Katherine was one of 25 people to complete the 2022 European Space Agency (ESA) Astronaut Group selection process out of an initial pool of 22500 eligible applicants. Read more here.
